NFL Draft Day 3: Cardinals wrap up 5/02: Saturday was the third and final day of the 2016 NFL Draft and consisted of rounds 4-7. The day started a bit earlier than the previous two rounds with a 9:00 a.m. start Arizona time, compared with the 5:00 p.m. start on Thursdays and the 4:00 p.m. start Friday. The day started with the Cleveland Browns taking linebacker Joe Schobert from Wisconsin with the 99th overall pick. READ

Recapping the Cardinals 2016 Draft picks, 5/03: The Cardinals drafted center Evan Boehm from Missouri in the fourth round. He started 52 straight games for the Tigers, with the past three seasons at the center position Boehm is expected to compete with A. Q. Shipley for the starting center position. READ

Arizona Cardinals sign 16 Undrafted Rookies, 5/4: On Monday, May 2, the Arizona Cardinals agreed to terms with 16 undrafted rookies. Among them was Alabama quarterback Jake Coker and long snappers Daniel Dillon from Campbell and Kameron Canaday from Portland State. READ

Justin Bethel’s time to shine, 5/5: Justin Bethel is hoping to earn a starting cornerback job when training camp starts. He is spending the time right now recovering from surgery on his left foot. The coach of the year award has been given out be various organization to honor outstanding sports representatives since the 1940’s, it may go back future than it in other forms, [this I am not sure about so will travel this path no further.] It is an honor for the recipients to be recognized for their service to the sport that they love, the team who make the sport what it is, and not forgetting the fans, without whom would make the efforts of the team to a large degree meaningless.
