Vikings' Spielman has no plans to deal Harvin

Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman reiterated Thursday that the team doesn't plan to deal star receiver Percy Harvin.

"We have no intent to trade Percy Harvin," Spielman told reporters at the 2013 NFL Combine. "Anything related to his contract ... will all be kept internally."

Rumors have suggested that Harvin might hold out or be dealt before the season. A CBSSports report said that Harvin's issues are related to playing time.

"It's a tough balance because of Kyle Rudolph's emergence as a tight end [too]," Spielman told reporters. "I think the more playmakers we can bring, the more it's going to help our young quarterback grow and develop. I don't want to ever say Adrian [Peterson] has to get his touches; Percy has to get his touches."

Harvin finished the year with 62 receptions, and also ran the ball 22 times in 2012.
