USC WR Lee out for Utah game

All-American USC wide receiver Marqise Lee will not play in Saturday's game against Utah because of a left knee injury, ESPN reported Friday.

Lee missed much of the second half of last Saturday's loss to Notre Dame after aggravating the injury, which he first sustained in a Sept. 28 game against Arizona State.

Lee has 32 catches for 403 yards and one touchdown in six games this season.

USC has injury issues throughout its roster, but particularly at receiver.

The Troans are hoping wide receivers Darreus Rogers and De'Von Flournoy can play despite injuries. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor (ribs) is questionable.

Walk-on wide receivers Christian Tober, Cody Skene, George Katrib and Robby Kolanz, a former intern in the USC sports information department, may play against Utah.

USC also will be without its top three tight ends: Xavier Grimble (ankle), Randall Telfer (knee) and Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick.

Running back Justin Davis will miss the rest of the seasons following ankle surgery.
