UFC Fight Night 60 Prelims Headliner Cancelled Due to Illness

The UFC Fight Night preliminary bout between Nik Lentz and Levan Makashvili was cancelled at the last minute due to illness.

Lentz vs. Makashvili was originally slated to the headline the UFC Fight Night preliminary bout telecast on FOX Sports 1. The bout was cancelled just prior to the official weigh-ins on Friday at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colo.

Lentz was stricken by a case of the flu and forced to to withdraw from the bout, according to UFC officials. Although the bout was cancelled, the UFC will still pay both fighters their show money.

UFC Fight Night 60 was intended to feature 11 bouts, but will now proceed with 10.

The fight between James Moontasri and Cody Pfister has been moved from a UFC Fight Pass broadcast to the FOX Sports 1 prelims. There will be no bouts streamed on UFC Fight Pass for this event.
