Timberwolves' Kirilenko won't represent Russia in Euros

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrei Kirilenko will not play for Russia in the European Championship this September, according to Sport Express.

Kirilenko told the Russian daily that he informed Russian basketball federation president, Alexander Krasnenkov, that he wants to skip the tournament after the NBA season to spend more time with his family. He did not rule out playing for Russia in the 2016 Olympics.

Kirilenko, 32, spent last season with CSKA Moscow.
