Steelers sign TE Spaeth to 2-year deal

Tight end Matt Spaeth signed a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Financial terms were not disclosed.

A third-round pick by the Steelers in 2007, Spaeth played four seasons for Pittsburgh before spending the past two years with the Chicago Bears. Known for his blocking, Spaeth has 49 career receptions for 353 yards and eight touchdowns while starting 56 of 91 games.
