Steelers sign Polamalu to three-year deal
The Pittsburgh Steelers locked up veteran safety Troy Polamalu with a three-year contract.
The deal is expected to lower his $10.8 million salary-cap figure for 2014.
The Steelers also did a cap-friendly extension for tight end Heath Miller.
They also have a $9.754 million salary-cap figure for transition player Jason Worilds.
Polamalu is one of the top defensive players in Steelers franchise history.
He has 32 career interceptions.
