Sources: Bulls' Mike Dunleavy avoids suspension, will play in Game 1 vs. Cavs
Chicago Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy has escaped a suspension for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Dunleavy hadn't been called for two-handed contact to the back of the neck of Milwaukee's Michael Carter-Williams in Chicago’s Game 6 victory on Thursday.
After an NBA review, the league upgraded that play to a flagrant 1 foul call, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Dunleavy will be in the starting lineup on Monday for Chicago's Game 1 meeting with Cleveland in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Dunleavy averaged 10.5 points, including 55 percent on three-point shooting, in the six-game series against the Bucks.
