Defensive tackle Dan Williams has agreed to terms with the Oakland Raiders, a league source told Yahoo Sports.

The nose tackle started nine of 16 games last season for a Cardinals unit that ranked fifth in total defense. He had 24 tackles and a sack.

Williams was No. 5 in Pro Football Focus' rankings of the top defensive interior linemen available in free agency. That was two spots ahead of Jared Odrick, who is reportedly leaving the Miami Dolphins for the Jacksonville Jaguars on a multi-year deal that averages about $7 million a season.

Williams, 27, has spent five seasons with the Cardinals after being drafted by the franchise in the first round (26th overall) of the 2010 NFL draft.

The Raiders also agreed to terms with linebacker Curtis Lofton, a source told Yahoo Sports. Lofton, 28, is a veteran of seven seasons who started all 16 games with the Saints last year and had 100 tackles.
