Russell Wilson says that he and Ciara are now married

Future might not be happy about it, but Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and singer Ciara are now married.

Wilson announced that the marriage was official with an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Ciara tweeted about it too:

There was some confusion about whether the two were officially married. TMZ said on Wednesday afternoon that Wilson and Ciara got married at Peckforton Castle in Liverpool, England, although ET Online quoted Ciara’s rep saying they had not gotten married.

Unless Wilson and Ciara are pulling a strange prank that includes the famous singer in a wedding dress and him in a tuxedo, the two are hitched.

TMZ said the wedding guests included Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson (but not Serena Williams, who had Wimbledon duties), but photos of the wedding are scarce because all guests were asked to turn over their cell phones.

The happy couple has about a month to celebrate before Wilson reports to training camp with the Seahawks.
