Rockies sign top-pick Gray

Jonathan Gray, the third overall pick in the MLB draft last week, has agreed to terms with the Colorado Rockies.

Gray, who compiled a 10-3 record with a 1.64 ERA last year for the Oklahoma Sooners, signed for about $4.8 million, according to CBSSports.com.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Gray, recorded 147 strikeouts in 126 1/3 innings for the Sooners last year. His fastball has been clocked in the high 90s and scouts rate his slider and changeup above average.
