Rockies acrtivate Oswalt
The Colorado Rockies activated pitcher Roy Oswalt on Friday, and he could get a start as soon as Sunday's game against San Diego, the Denver Post reported.
Oswalt began his season with Double-A Tulsa, and made his 2013 debut with the Rockies on June 20.
He made four starts for the Rockies and was 0-4 with a 7.64 ERA. He then suffered a strained left hamstring and has not pitched in the Major League since July 7.
He spent a rehab stint with Single-A Grand Junction, and threw 5 2/3 shutout innings on Tuesday.
The Rockies also activated pitcher Drew Pomeranz from the disabled list, although he is not ready to pitch in a game.
He made four starts for the Rockies between June 30 and July 22 and compiled an 0-4 record with an 8.10 ERA. He then went on the disabled list with biceps tendinitis.
