Reports: Suspended Texas G Martez Walker facing another charge

Five days removed from his indefinite suspension after an alleged assault charge against a female, sophomore Texas guard Martez Walker has reportedly been arrested and charged with another offense.

This time the arrest is over trespassing. Following Walker's first encounter with police (and ensuing suspension from the team) Thursday, he was not allowed to be in Texas' campus dorms, per the terms of that arrest. But to him, no matter: He found himself in a Texas dormitory Tuesday.

Soon after, he was at the local jail again. Walker was taken in on $2,000 bond, according to KXAN.

"Walker is facing a Class A misdemeanor charge of assault with injury/dating violence," for the first arrest, per the Austin Statesman. "The maximum penalty for a Class A misdemeanor is a $4,000 fine and up to one year in jail."

Walker's future with the school, let alone the team, remains in doubt. He averaged 4.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 2013-14.
