Report: Raiders' Bartell out with broken shoulder blade

The Oakland Raiders received a lot of discouraging medical news on Tuesday.

Not only did wide receiver Jacoby Ford undergo foot surgery that might end his season, but starting cornerback Ronald Bartell sustained a broken shoulder blade in Monday's loss to San Diego, according to ESPN.com.

Bartell's injury will not require surgery, and he could be back in 4-6 weeks.

The Raiders did not confirm that Bartell had sustained a fracture, saying only that Bartell was to undergo an MRI exam.

Also, head coach Dennis Allen told the media on Tuesday that long-snapper Jon Condo sustained a concussion in Monday's game, putting his availability for Sunday's game against Miami in doubt.

Condo's importance was made clear on Monday as Condo's replacement, Travis Goethel, rolled two snaps back to punter Shane Lechler with a third punt being blocked.
