Redskins Suffer 30-20 Defeat Against Cardinals

DeSean Jackson had a big day, but it wasn't enough to avoid a tough loss for the Redskins against the Cardinals, 30-20, in Glendale.

Kirk Cousins was marred by turnovers, finishing 24 for 38 with 354 yards passing and three picks, he also added two touchdowns. For the Cardinals, Carson Palmer wound up 28 for 44 with 250 yards passing, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Roy Helu Jr. ran for 26 yards on three carries in addition to two receptions for 40 yards. Jackson was a highlight, catching three balls for 115 yards with a score.

The Washington defense surrendered 74 yards rushing and 250 passing. They brought down Palmer for one sack.

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was impressive, churning out 98 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Andre Ellington also had a good game with 67 rushing yards and 26 receiving.

The Redskins will play host to the Titans (2-4) next week while the Cardinals head to Oakland to face off with the Raiders (0-5).
