Redskins Suffer 24-13 Defeat Against Giants
The Redskins were handled by the Giants, 24-13, at MetLife Stadium.
Robert Griffin III completed 18 of 27 passes for 236 yards, one touchdown and one fumble. Eli Manning finished 23 for 34 with 250 yards passing, three touchdowns and no interceptions for the Giants.
Chris Thompson ran for 12 yards on three attempts in addition to three receptions for 22 yards and a score. Andre Roberts caught two balls for 81 yards.
The Washington defense allowed 49 yards rushing and 250 passing. They brought down Manning for one sack.
Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was impressive, racking up 143 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Next week, the Redskins host the Eagles (9-4) while the Giants head to St. Louis to face the Rams (6-8).
