Redskins Shock Eagles, 27-24
Alfred Morris established the ground game, paving the way to a close win for the Redskins over the Eagles, 27-24, at home.
Robert Griffin III finished with 220 yards on 16 for 23 passing, no touchdowns and one pick. On the Eagles side, Mark Sanchez went 37 for 50 with 374 yards passing, two touchdowns, one pick and one fumble.
Morris carried the ball 21 times for 83 yards with a touchdown. DeSean Jackson was a highlight, pulling in four passes for 126 yards.
The Washington defense allowed 134 yards rushing and 374 passing. They brought down Sanchez for three sacks.
Eagles tight end Zach Ertz had a productive game with 115 receiving yards. Running back LeSean McCoy also gave a strong effort with 88 rushing yards, 28 receiving and one touchdown.
The Redskins host the Cowboys (10-4) next week while the Eagles head to East Rutherford to face the Giants (5-9).
