Redskins Edged by Vikings, 29-26
Alfred Morris had a big day on the ground, but it wasn't enough to avoid a frustrating loss for the Redskins against the Vikings, 29-26, in.
Robert Griffin III went 18 out of 28 for 251 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. Teddy Bridgewater ended up going 26 of 42 with 268 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Vikings.
Morris was a key factor for the Redskins, rushing for 92 yards on 19 carries with two scores and had two receptions for 17 yards. DeSean Jackson was a leading receiver, hauling in four passes for 120 yards while adding a touchdown.
The Washington defense gave up 100 yards rushing and 268 passing. They sacked Bridgewater two times.
Vikings tight end Chase Ford had a big game, putting up 66 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Matt Asiata also performed well with 31 receiving yards, 26 rushing and three touchdowns.
The Redskins are at home to take on the Buccaneers (1-7) next week while the Vikings travel to Chicago to meet the Bears (3-5).
