Reds activate Cairo from DL
The Cincinnati Reds activated third baseman Miguel Cairo from the 15-day disabled list on Monday, and to make room on the roster, the Reds sent Willie Harris outright to Triple-A Louisville.
Harris, who signed a minor-league deal in January, was batting .086 for the Reds this season.
Cairo, 38, has been on the disabled list since April 17 because of a strained left hamstring. He played three games at Class A Dayton on a rehab assignment, and went 0-for-10.
Cairo is 1-for-9 in four games with the Reds this season.
