Rangers fans still want to punch Jose Bautista

The Texas Rangers certainly lacked punch in their 10-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 1 of the American League Division Series on Thursday. But heading into the game, their fans were still all about that punch.

Rangers fans wore their shirts commemorating when Rougned Odor clocked Jose Bautista back in May, they booed Bautista mercilessly at the start of the game and they brought they own homemade signs (you know, in case anybody forgot).

That came from the Rangers’ tailgate, via Reddit, where fans were able to pretend they were punching Bautista. That’s dedication to a gag.

But these Rangers fans might not feel too great about bringing the punch cut-out back for Game 2 after the 10-1 result. And three of those runs came on a big ol’ homer from Bautista. Bautista, we should add, set his bat down nicely before his trot.
