Princeton 81, Lafayette 80 (OT)

Princeton blew a seven-point lead late in regulation, but survived another late charge by Lafayette in overtime to come away with an 81-80 victory at home.

The Tigers led 66-57 with 4:27 left in regulation, but the Leopards went on a 9-2 run to force overtime, tying the game on a layup by forward Dan Trist with 18 seconds left. Princeton then jumped out to a five-point lead in overtime, but Lafayette got back within one on a pair of occasions, the last on a pair of free throws by guard Nick Linder with eight seconds left. Forward Denton Koon missed a pair of free throws for Princeton, but forward Spencer Weisz grabbed the rebound and the Tigers survived.

Forward Will Barrett led the Tigers with 22 points. He made seven of his 10 shots from the field and went 4-for-5 from 3-point range. Weisz and guard Ben Hazel each had 14. Koon's misses down the stretch epitomized a tough night, as he went 3-for-16 from the field.

Lafayette guard Seth Hinrichs led all scorers with 27 points, and Trist added 19. Lafayette shot the lights out early, going 16-for-25 from the field en route to building a 36-31 halftime lead, but hurt its cause with 15 turnovers.
