PHOTO: Derek Jeter to receive bronzed Yankees hat
Friday night, the Yankees will play the second game of an eight-game homestand, which also happens to be the final homestand of Derek Jeter's legendary career.

As the retirement tour continues, Jeter will get a bronzed Yankees hat, thanks to New Era. Here's more info:
New Era CEO Chris Koch will be presenting Derek Jeter with a one-of-a-kind bronzed version of the New Era 59FIFTY cap affixed with the Jeter sidepatch that the team is currently wearing.
Koch will also be presenting Jeter’s TURN 2 Foundation with a check for $22,222.

This marks the first ever New Era bronzed cap.
In related news, Jeter homered Thursday, marking his first home run of the season in Yankee Stadium. Maybe he'll go out with a bang.
