Packers Now Partnering with Green Bay Airport

Green Bay’s Austin Straubel International Airport and the Green Bay Packers have entered a new partnership. The Airport is now being dubbed “the Gateway to Lambeau Field”.

However, even without any official designation Austin Straubel International Airport was already being used by the team according to president and CEO of the Green Bay Packers Mark Murphy.

“This really formalizes our existing relationship,” explained Airport Director Tom Miller.

Murphy said of the partnership, “We’ve had a long-standing relationship with the Green Bay airport. Having a strong and vibrant airport is important to our organization and it’s important to area businesses and residents as well. The Gateway to Lambeau Field designation is a fitting designation.”

Though not much is changing beyond the airport slogan, the partnership strengthens ties between the Packers and the Community.
