NHL, NHLPA resume talks in NYC

Talks toward a new Collective Bargaining Agreement resumed Wednesday at the National Hockey League office in New York City.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly, NHLPA Executive Director Donald Fehr and Special Counsel Steve Fehr met for about an hour, according to NHL.com.

Union representative returned to the League office around 3 p.m. NHL.com reported that playing conditions and health issues were scheduled to be the primary topics of conversation for the second meeting.
