(Adds late game) April 22 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Basketball Association playoff games. - - - Grizzlies 97, Trail Blazers 82 Mike Conley and Courtney Lee combined for 36 points to help the Memphis Grizzlies defeat the Portland Trail Blazers 97-82 and take a 2-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference playoff series. The Trail Blazers, who lost Game One by 14 points, were never closer than nine in the fourth quarter. Memphis swept the regular-season series 4-0. Conley had 18 points and six assists and Lee also scored 18 points and added three steals. LaMarcus Aldridge led the Trail Blazers with 24 points and 14 rebounds and Damian Lillard scored 18 but Portland finished with just 11 assists to 14 turnovers. - - - Hawks 96, Nets 91 Paul Millsap scored 19 points, helping the Atlanta Hawks stave off a late rally and beat the Brooklyn Nets 96-91 and take a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference first-round series. All Star forward Millsap had his best game since injuring his right shoulder two weeks ago in a win over the Nets. Games Three and Four are on Saturday and Monday at Brooklyn. The Nets trimmed a deficit to 90-89 with two minutes to play but were unable to push on and wrap the game up. Jarrett Jack led Brooklyn with 23 points, 16 coming in the first half, while Brook Lopez added 20. - - - Spurs 111, Clippers 107 (Overtime) Tim Duncan scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Kawhi Leonard added 21 points and nine boards, lifting the San Antonio Spurs to an overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game Two of the Western Conference first round series. The Spurs never trailed in the extra session. Danny Green's corner three-pointer 46 seconds into overtime gave San Antonio a 97-94 lead and they did not look back. Game Three is Friday at San Antonio. Clippers forward Blake Griffin had a triple-double 29 points and 12 rebounds and 11 assists but lost a critical possession in the final seconds of regulation that allowed the Spurs to tie it. - - - (Editing by Peter Rutherford)
