Source: Maryland's Alex Len to enter NBA draft

Maryland sophomore center Alex Len, considered a top 10 pick, will enter the NBA draft, a source told Yahoo! Sports on Sunday night.

Len, 19, will formalize his announcement at a news conference midweek on campus, a source said.

At 7-foot-1 and 255 pounds, Len is considered one of the best young center prospects and NBA executives expect him to be selected with one of the top 10 picks in the draft.

A native of Ukraine, Len, has been a rapidly developing prospect and joins Indiana's Cody Zeller as one of the top two center prospects in the draft.

In his sophomore season, Len averaged 11.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks for the Terrapins.
