MRI: Dumervil's shoulder not torn

An MRI exam taken on Denver Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil revealed no tear on his left shoulder, the Denver Post reported Monday.

Dumervil is questionable to play against the San Diego Chargers this Sunday.

Dumervil sustained the injury during the first quarter of Sunday's 36-14 rout of the Carolina Panthers. He sat out the rest of the game and said afterward he felt a strain in the muscle behind his left shoulder.

Robert Ayers and rookie Malik Jackson filled in for Dumervil.
