Michigan RB Toussaint out for season

Michigan running back Fitz Toussaint had surgery to repair a leg injury sustained early in Saturday's victory over Iowa and he will be out the rest of the season, CollegeFootballTalk.com reported Sunday.

Although head coach Brady Hoke did not confirm the specific nature of the injury, it was reported that Toussaint sustained a broken leg.

Toussaint will likely finish the season as the No. 1 rusher among Wolverine running backs in rushing yards (514) and rushing touchdowns (five). Denard Robinson is the leading rusher on the team, but spent most of the season as a quarterback before playing running back this past week.
