Knicks likely without Felton, World Peace at Detroit

New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton could miss multiple games with a pinched nerve in his left hip, joining forward Metta World Peace on the sideline.

Felton is also dealing with a hamstring injury. The Knicks said Tuesday that he would be a game-time decision at Detroit, but Felton said he was experiencing pain and considering rest to promote recovery.

If Felton sits, coach Mike Woodson said Beno Udrih would start and Pablo Prignoni would continue to be used off the bench.

The nerve issue came about Sunday, when Felton went to the floor after a collision in the San Antonio Spurs game.

World Peace had fluid drained from a knee. He didn't travel to Detroit but isn't expected to miss significant time.
