According to reports, Kanye West's next release may be a spoken word album.

An unidentified source told British tabloid The Sun that the project would be about three hours long and cover the controversial rapper's views on various topics. A deluxe edition will be available to fans and will reportedly feature 24 hours of West's thoughts.

"Kanye loves the sound of his own voice, and this will be the ultimate in self-indulgence," the source said. "He has very strong views on everything from music and art to politics and the environment. He's forever recording his opinions on tape. He says he's doing it for posterity and thought about turning them into a book or even donating them to a museum. Kanye likes to push the boundaries and thinks this is very groundbreaking. He's hoping it'll win him a Grammy for Best Spoken Word album."

Thus far, no one from West's camp has confirmed the rumor. But considering his knack for ranting during concerts, it's not too hard to believe he would consider releasing an entire album of his ideas and opinions.

During a recent interview with architect Jacques Herzog at Art Basel in Miami, the Chicago-bred MC did reveal plans to release an 8-track project. "I think my album is going to be eight songs. It's just reducing down the amount of information that you need. People say a design is the point where you can't take anything else away. [Yeezus] was very, very designed."
