Jimmy Butler's 35 powers Bulls over Knicks

Jimmy Butler put up 35 points to help the Chicago Bulls sneak by the New York Knicks, 103-97. The Bulls had a strong shooting performance in this one, going 34-75 (45.3%) from the field, including 12-23 (52.2%) from three-point range. Chicago (16-9) has now won seven of their last 10 games.

Butler shot 11-21 from the field (4-7 on 3-point attempts) in a good performance. He recorded five rebounds and four steals as well. Pau Gasol contributed 20 points and seven rebounds for Chicago as well. On 8-19 shooting, including 5-8 from behind the arc, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 23 points for New York in the loss. Cole Aldrich added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

New York (5-23) has now dropped their last three straight contests.

Coming up next, the Bulls play the Memphis Grizzlies, who are 21-4 on the year. The Knicks match up with the Phoenix Suns, currently 13-14 this season.
