Jadeveon Clowney on Texans: 'I don't think they're going to pass'

South Carolina star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney expressed confidence that the Houston Texans will make him the top overall pick in the NFL draft.

“I don’t think they’re going to pass,” Clowney told reporters in New York. “I think it will be (me). If I have to (go) No. 2, I’m going to be upset. I’m going to have to do something about it.”

Clowney concurred that his best football is still ahead of him.

“For them to say that right now, and I’m not even reached my potential, it’s the greatest feeling ever,” Clowney said. “Because I know I’ve got a lot to learn about the game and I’m ready to learn about the game.”
