Illinois LB Dickinson out for season

Illinois sophomore linebacker Henry Dickinson is expected to miss the 2012 season with a fractured leg suffered in a team scrimmage last week.

Dickinson played in 11 games last season, recording eight total tackles while being used primarily on special teams. He was a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and ESPN out of Memphis University High School.

Dickinson is expected to use a redshirt season. He suffered leg and ankle injuries and is unlikely to be cleared to return to full-contact drills before the end of the 2012 season.
