Giants Clipped by Jaguars, 25-24
Rashad Jennings established the ground game, but it wasn't enough to avoid a close loss for the Giants against the Jaguars, 25-24, in Jacksonville.
Eli Manning finished 24 for 34 with 247 yards, one touchdown and two fumbles. Blake Bortles completed 21 of 35 passes for 194 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Jaguars.
Jennings was a key factor for the Giants, rushing for 91 yards on 26 carries while adding two touchdowns. Odell Beckham Jr. snagged seven balls for 90 yards.
The New York defense played well in the loss, giving up 118 yards rushing and 194 passing. They tormented Bortles with seven sacks.
Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee racked up 75 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Giants head to Nashville next week to face the Titans (2-10) while the Jaguars host the Texans (6-6).
