1. Adrian Peterson?
The Minnesota Vikings have officially ruled out Adrian Peterson for their Christmas Eve matchup in Green Bay. They will face the division rival Packers without him. Hopefully Minnesota can find ways to use Jerick McKinnon in the passing game when the offensive line limits a ground attack.
2. Sam Bradford?
It’s evident the Vikings are missing something at quarterback right now. Losing Teddy Bridgewater was perhaps the worst loss of the entire season, even over the offensive line misery. Bridgewater’s ability to escape the pocket, play consistently, and make big plays when needed most, are out of the equation right now. Sam Bradford can’t supply the same instincts or athleticism the Vikings need to mask the offensive line problems.
3. Harrison Smith Questionable?
Vikings star safety, Harrison Smith has been battling a high ankle sprain. However, Smith practiced for the first time this week since the injury. His potential return would bring much needed command and leadership back to the Vikings defensive squad.
4. Pro Bowl Snub?
Perhaps one of the greatest pro bowl snubs happens to be on the Vikings roster. Linval Joseph has dominated the entire season, anchoring the Vikings defensive front. He is the key cog in stopping the run and has wreaked havoc all season. It would be a shame if the NFL community would go on to leave the big man out of an all-pro honor.
5. Any chance left for the Vikings?
The playoffs seem far and distant for Minnesota. However, a remote possibility still remains. If the Vikings can find a solution to their offensive woes and win their final two games, they may have a shot to earn a postseason bid. They would need help with losses from the Tampa Buccaneers and Washington Redskins as well.
Wrap up

Can the Viking get back on track and sweep the hated, Green Bay Packers. Time will tell, but even then, this season may be at a loss. As mentioned above, Minnesota has very little chance to make the playoffs. They do not control their own destiny.

Hopefully a Christmas miracle will come and give the Vikings a shot come January. Can they find the efficiency they started the season with?
