Soccer-Life bans for ex-South American FA officials Jadue, Bedoya

ZURICH, May 6 (Reuters) - Former Chilean FA president Sergio Jadue and former Colombian FA president Luis Bedoya have both been banned from soccer for life, FIFA's ethics committee said on Friday. Bedoya is also a former member of FIFA's executive committee and both men are former vice-presidents of the South American governing soccer body CONMEBOL. The ethics committee said they had breached five articles of the world soccer body's ethics code including one relating to bribery. In December, the U.S. Department of Justice said Bedoya and Jadue had pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy and wire fraud conspiracy.
