Early fantasy football pickups: Keenan Allen replacement options

Your fantasy draft is a distant memory but there’s still much work to do to lead your team to a title. It starts by hitting the waiver wire after a wild Week 1, which unfortunately featured a devastating injury to one of fantasy’s best receivers.

With Keenan Allen’s season potentially over after a serious knee injury, Liz Loza is here to help you with three players to target.

Opposite Julio Jones, new addition Mohamed Sanu caught five passes for 80 yards, including a 59-yard reception and a touchdown. With Jones sure to continue to attract attention from opposing defenses, Sanu should have a reliable floor owners can trust.

Mike Wallace seems to be back on the fantasy radar with the Ravens after being a poor fit in Minnesota in 2015. He showed he still has game-breaking speed, catching a 66-yard touchdown pass and totaling 91 yards on three receptions.

For this in deep leagues, Tyrell Williams hauled in two of five targets for 71 yards for the Chargers, who suffered a deflating overtime loss to the Chiefs. The second-year receiver had only two receptions his entire rookie season but will now be counted on for much more with Allen’s season reportedly over.
