College football roundup: USC's Lee out this week

All-American USC wide receiver Marqise Lee will not play in Saturday's game against Utah because of a left knee injury, ESPN reported Friday.

Lee missed much of the second half of last Saturday's loss to Notre Dame after aggravating the injury, which he first sustained in a Sept. 28 game against Arizona State.

USC has injury issues throughout its roster, but particularly at receiver.

--- Florida State running back James Wilder Jr. will miss Saturday's game against North Carolina State due to a concussion.

Coach Jimbo Fisher said Friday that Wilder was not cleared to play.

--- No. 6 Stanford will be without wide receiver Devon Cajuste, the team's No. 2 receiver, when it plays No. 25 Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore., on Saturday.

Cajuste will be unavailable because of a bruised knee he suffered last Saturday against UCLA. Cajuste had seven catches for 109 receiving yards against the Bruins.

The Cardinal will also be without place-kicker Jordan Williamson on Saturday. Williamson will miss his second consecutive game with a leg injury.

---Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez, who has been out since the Sept. 14 loss to UCLA because of turf toe, might return for Saturday's game against Minnesota.

Coach Bo Pelini said it will be a game-time decision whether Martinez or Tommy Armstrong Jr. starts the game.

---TCU quarterback Casey Pachall, who has not played since he broke his left (non-throwing) arm in the Sept. 7 victory over Southeastern Louisiana, has been medically cleared to play against Texas on Saturday.

It has not been announced whether Pachall or Trevone Boykin will start the game, however.
