Coldplay, Beyonce And Bruno Mars Put On A Truly Epic Super Bowl Halftime Show

Last night was a very special Sunday night indeed - and not just because we managed to grab an extra helping of Yorkshire puddings with our roast.

Nope, we’re talking about Coldplay’s BEYOND EPIC Super Bowl halftime show at the Levi’s Stadium, which featured actual Beyoncé and actual Bruno Mars.

The whole show can only really be described as a right ruddy colourful spectacular, with fireworks, flowers and footage of some of the amazing halftime shows we’ve been treated to over the years.

Coldplay kicked off the show with ‘Yellow’, while a load of fans ran onto the pitch, before launching into ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’.

Bruno Mars then made his show-stopping appearance, breaking into an incredible performance of ‘Uptown Funk’ with Mark Ronson.

Last but DEFINITELY not least to make a grand entrance was Beyoncé, who performed new single ‘Formation’, which is thought to be a rallying cry for the Black Lives Matter movement.

And boy, did she slay.

Beyoncé gave a nod to black rights campaigner Malcolm X by dancing with her squad in an ‘X’ shape on the pitch and had perhaps the best almost-fall recovery ever, before heading into a dance-off with Bruno.

The three big stars then came together for one big finale, at which point we were exhausted but still couldn’t wait to watch the whole thing again.

And again. And again.

This show was absolutely one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows we’ve ever had - in our opinion, anyway.

If you’re wondering, the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10.
