Chiefs sign inside linebacker Lemon

The Kansas City Chiefs signed linebacker Orie Lemon on Wednesday.

Lemon, 6-foot-1, 242 pounds, was an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2011. He made his NFL debut in 2012, appearing in five games after inside linebacker Sean Lee was lost for the season. Lemon recorded three tackles and had one fumble recovery.

Lemon, 25, joins the Chiefs after working out with the club during the team's three-day voluntary minicamp.

The Houston native played linebacker at Oklahoma State where he recorded 229.
