Chiefs Pick Up 19-7 Win Over Chargers

The Chiefs handled the Chargers, 19-7, at home.

Chase Daniel didn't throw any touchdown passes and came away 16 for 27 for only 157 yards and no interceptions. Philip Rivers went 20 of 34 with 291 yards passing, no touchdowns, two picks and one fumble for the Chargers.

Jamaal Charles rushed for 54 yards on 13 carries. Travis Kelce was a top receiver, catching seven balls for 84 yards.

The Kansas City defense was the major reason for the victory, allowing 112 yards rushing and 291 passing. They consistently put pressure on Rivers and the Chargers offensive line, racking up seven sacks.

Chargers running back Branden Oliver put up 71 yards rushing and one touchdown. Wide receiver Eddie Royal had a good game as well with 95 receiving yards.
