Chiefs' Hemingway, Waldron out with injuries

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Junior Hemingway and offensive tackle Dustin Waldron are out with injuries, the Kansas City Star reported Monday.

Hemingway has a sprained a thumb while Waldron is nursing a dislocated knee cap.

Hemingway, a seventh-round draft pick in 2012, was scheduled to have an MRI. He is competing for a roster spot.

Waldron is not expected to make the team's regular-season roster, but tackle Donald Stephenson is already out for the team's exhibition opener Friday against the New Orleans Saints because of a broken finger. The Chiefs are also without rookie tackle Colin Kelly for the season die to a knee injury.

Starters Branden Albert and Eric Fisher and backups Geoff Schwartz and Steven Baker are the only tackles available for the Chiefs.
