Cavs sign journeyman G Quinn for rest of season

The Cleveland Cavaliers signed guard Chris Quinn from Tulsa of the NBA Development League for the remainder of the season, the team announced Wednesday.

Quinn, 29, will join the injury-plagued Cavs for Wednesday night's game against Miami in Cleveland. Among the Cavaliers injury losses is All-Star guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder).

In 25 games this season with Tulsa, Quinn averaged 12.7 points and 6.1 assists.

The former Notre Dame player has NBA experience. having played 234 games from 2006 to 2011 with the Heat, New Jersey and San Antonio.
