Cavs to play second consecutive game without Irving

Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving will miss a second straight game with a hyperextended right knee when the Cavaliers play host to Toronto on Wednesday night.

According to the team, Irving remains day to day with the injury. The NBA All-Star is averaging 23.3 points and 5.6 assists in 45 games this season.

Without Irving, the Cavaliers managed to win at Chicago on Tuesday night. Shaun Livingston replaced Irving and scored 15 points.

The Cavs also announced that guard Daniel Gibson has returned to the team after attending to a personal matter and will be active for Wednesday night's game against the Raptors.
