Cardinals Pick Up 28-17 Win Over Cowboys
The Cardinals took care of the Cowboys, 28-17, in Arlington.
Carson Palmer lit up the Cowboys for three scores on 22 of 34 passing for 249 yards and one pick. In comparison, Brandon Weeden did not have as good a day for the Cowboys, going 18 of 33 with 183 yards passing, one touchdown and two picks.
Andre Ellington was a focal point for the Cardinals, running at will on the Cowboys for 95 yards on 21 carries in addition to four receptions for 39 yards and a score. John Carlson pulled in two balls for 19 yards with a touchdown.
The Arizona defensive unit led the way to a victory, giving up 92 yards rushing and 183 passing. They managed to get to Weeden for one sack.
Cowboys tight end Jason Witten totaled 62 receiving yards. Running back DeMarco Murray also had a good game with 79 rushing yards and 11 receiving.
Next week, the Cardinals are at home against the Rams (3-5) while the Cowboys travel to London to face the Jaguars (1-8).
