Bogut MRI reveals disc protrusion

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut has a protruding disk in his back and remains out indefinitely.

The Bay Area News Group reported the results of Bogut's MRI on Sunday. The disc protrusion caused Bogut's back spasms. He will not play in Sunday's game at the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Bogut stayed home to get treatment instead of traveling with the team. Depending on how he recovers, he could join the team on its five-game road trip.

Bogut is averaging 7.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 12 games this season.
