Blazers' McCollum out indefinitely with broken foot

Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard C.J. McCollum is sidelined indefinitely after suffering a broken left foot in practice this week that will require surgery, the team announced Saturday night.

McCollum was knocked over by a teammate during a scrimmage. The team initially called the injury a sprain, but tests revealed a broken bone. Surgery has yet to be scheduled, according to the team.

The 6-foot-4 guard was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of Lehigh. He injured the same foot in January in a college game and underwent surgery.
