Bills owner hospitalized

Buffalo Bills owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr. has been hospitalized, but he is listed in good condition, the Buffalo News reported Thursday.

A team official confirmed that Wilson, 93, was hospitalized, but the reason for the hospitalization was not revealed.

Wilson's last public appearance was earlier this month at the Football Hall of Fame ceremonies.

He had not been planning to attend the Bills' preseason game Thursday at Detroit, even though it is near his home in Grosse Point Shores, Mich.

Wilson has been in regular contact with the team's top executives this week, according to the News.

Wilson was hospitalized in May 2011 after he broke his hip from a fall in his home.

He attended only one Bills game last season.
