The Bengals have one of the best players in the NFL

The Cincinnati Bengals have made the playoffs for the last five seasons, and while that has resulted in absolutely zero wins one player has been a major part of that success. That player? The third overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft in wide receiver A.J. Green.

Just how good has Green been since entering the league? He is just the second player in NFL history (Randy Moss being the other) to have at least five 1,000 yard seasons to start his career. Oh, and that is despite being constantly being double teams since coming into the league.

Green is by far Andy Dalton’s favorite target, and once again he made the NFL Network’s top 100 player list. A list that is made up from votes by fellow players.

That jump is no surprise as Green finished with 1,057 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. Even though he finished with almost 300 yards and four touchdowns last year, Green was still dominate in every aspect of the game.

Even teammate Adam Jones has high praise for Green, saying that their is “nobody better in the league with their hands.”

There is only four more receivers on the list, so it is safe to say (we knew all along) that Green has now entered the upper echelon of wideouts in this league.

Five years in the league, five years on the NFL Network top 100 players in the NFL list. Not too bad of company to be in. And with another big year we could see Green climb even higher next season.
