Bears reach agreement with first-round pick Long

The Chicago Bears have reached agreement with first-round pick Kyle Long on a four-year deal, the club announced Friday night.

The contract will include a team option for a fifth year.

Long, an offensive lineman out of Oregon who was the 20th overall pick in the recent draft, is expected to compete for a starting role at guard.

Long is the son of former NFL star Howie Long.
